Super sonic love beams. That's what it's about. Funny thing about this one is it was painted at a time when there was absolutely nothing going on romantically in my life. I had been feeling lonely, but didn't find that to be very interesting subject matter for painting, not a neon one anyway. Painting these characters and their laser like pull towards each other made me feel less lonely then.
